I hear what youre saying Franks but Campbell is one tough quality fighter. I think this is an awesome fight and I really am having a hard time picking a winner. However Olympic has Campbell at +200 and I am really leaning towards the value play. I wanna hear what Spinch thinks. Joel looked awesome in his last fight but god damn Campbell is a bad little man.

and ability not to go ballistic and loose his
focus. Should be real good in any case. Also the Forrest -Mayorga bout may be good also.

cassamayor vs campbell.....my boxing buds here are right on the money(as usual).....this shapes up as a better fight than the main event....cassamoyor with the great amateur pedigree...the difficult lefty style....great experience.....nate campbell with the gaudy record(23-0 w/21 k.o.`s.)....speed and power....also has buddy mcgirt in his corner...
negatives-cassamayor-how does he react to taking that first loss?....this is his first legit fight since losing to freitas(via a controversial decision)....some guys have serious trouble recovering from that first loss..and his first fight back was vs a mediocre(at best) yoni vargas....
campbell-he`s 30 years old....basically had to step up in competition...and lack of bigtime competition is the rub with him....what do we have here?....the record is impressive...i`ve seen him fight a few times and he is very fast....and can whack...but,cassamayor is a difficult nut to crack...
height and reach should not be factors...will campbell get discouraged when cassamayor doesn`t go to sleep?...and that cassamayor-freitas fight still knaws at me...went exactly the opposite of what most expected(cassamayor stalking and freitas boxing)...
i want to talk to some folks about this one...the goossen`s aren`t stupid...i doubt that they are putting cassamayor into a fight with someone that they don`t expect him to beat at this juncture of his career...another loss greatly diminishes cassamayor`s star power...this is a huge fight for cassamayor`s boxing future...another loss relegates him to just another contender.....

......which i think is great...i`m in my glory tonight...hbo has 2 action bouts,sharmba mitchell-carlos wilches on showtime and toughman on ppv.....cranking up the vcr`s as we speak...the cassamayor-campbell fight shapes up as a beauty...campbell talking mucho trash...let`s see where this line goes around 9-9:30 eastern time...i spoke to a very knowledgable boxing friend and he thinks this is an excellent bout that should be the feature or at least the co-feature...may not play this one...i`ll be home tonight so i may just sit back....i`ll check back at around 9:30 and relay anything i may stumble over...campbell may be a live dog.....but,casamayor can`t afford a second loss on the heels of the freitas failure....i`ll be back...

the first bout was every bit as tough as i expected.....glad i laid off....way to tough to give a solid opinion.....and i thought the decision was a good deal to lopsided...the second bout just stupified me.....forrest signs a big hbo deal,loses his head and decides to get into a punch-out with a much more unskilled guy...now all the effort put into and the acclaim received from the mosely fights go out the door...a very stupid,over confident mistake that will cost him dearly.......that`s why you never,ever lay ridiculous odds in any sporting event.....but,they were very enjoyable bouts....we got our money`s worth...
